Qatar Real Estate Sector Achieves $837 Million in Transactions in December

The Qatar real estate market concluded 2024 with a significant milestone, recording transactions exceeding $836 million in December.
According to data from the Qatar Real Estate Registration Department at the Ministry of Justice, the total volume of real estate trading in December reached QR1,043,726,242 ($836.7 million). The Ministry's analytical bulletin reported 283 real estate transactions, marking a 12% increase in the number of properties sold compared to November.

A total of 99 mortgage transactions were recorded, amounting to QR3,706,993,973 ($1 billion). Doha led with 29 transactions (29.3%), followed by Al Rayyan (28 transactions, 28.3%) and Al Dhaayen (18 transactions, 18.2%).
Residential Unit TradingDecember witnessed 93 residential unit deals, totaling QR177,822,906 ($48.9 million).
This strong performance reflects the resilience and growth of Qatar's real estate sector, driven by regulatory reforms in brokerage, registration, ownership, and laws encouraging local and foreign investment. These developments reinforce the sector’s pivotal role in the national economy.
